Concrete Foreman

Frank A. Rogers & Co. (FARCO) is seeking an experienced foreman to lead a 4-person concrete crew on various projects working from our Newport, Arkansas location. The foreman is responsible for mentoring, training, and directing the efforts of laborers or tradesmen while coordinating with the superintendent or project manager to carry out required tasks.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assist crew members engaged in construction or demolition using hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment
  • Promote a safety conscious workspace among crew members
  • Maintaining tools and equipment
  • Delegating tasks among crew members
  • Record daily jobsite information such as progress, material quantities, personnel status, and other data on specified forms or by electronic methods

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass a drug screen
  • A minimum of 3 years of industrial or commercial construction experience as a foreman managing laborers or tradesmen
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience on commercial or industrial projects forming, placing, and finishing concrete
  • Must be able to lift, up to, 70 pounds
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use measuring devices and interpret construction drawings
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications

Steel Erection Foreman

Frank A. Rogers & Co. (FARCO) is seeking an experienced foreman to lead a 4-person steel erection crew on various projects working from our Newport, Arkansas location and travelling to jobsites daily with some overnight travel required. The foreman is responsible for mentoring, training, and directing the efforts of laborers or tradesmen while coordinating with the superintendent or project manager to carry out required tasks.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assist crew members engaged in construction or demolition using hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment
  • Promote a safety conscious workspace among crew members
  • Maintaining tools and equipment
  • Delegating tasks among crew members
  • Record daily jobsite information such as progress, material quantities, personnel status, and other data on specified forms or by electronic methods

Construction Superintendent

Frank A. Rogers & Co. (FARCO) is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for various projects working from our Newport, Arkansas location and travelling to jobsites daily with some overnight travel required. The superintendent is responsible for daily supervision of internal company crews and subcontractors on the construction site from mobilization through punch list completion.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Studies construction drawings to determine requirements for tools, material, equipment, and personnel
  • Studies job specifications to determine quality of materials, tolerances, and other requirements
  • Job site safety
  • Schedule coordination with project management
  • Interface with owners, engineers, architects, and local government authorities
  • Record daily jobsite information such as progress, material quantities, personnel status, and other data on specified forms or by electronic methods
  • Examine and inspect performance of internal crews and subcontractors to assure quality
  • Adherence to construction drawings and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check
  • A minimum of 5 years of industrial or commercial construction experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role on commercial or industrial projects
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use measuring devices
  • Must be able to interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
